Does the trench coat ever go out of style? We don’t think so. A British wardrobe staple and one of the key pieces any transeasonal wardrobe should have. AF’s Evan Burrowes has curated a list of trench coats from high street to luxury, womenswear and menswear – and it’s fair to say we want them all.
The trench is a staple wardrobe piece that can be dressed up with your favourite LBD and towering stilettos or dressed down with an oversized grey sweat co-ord and a fresh pair of white sneakers. And this season we are loving the classic trench paired with chunky boots – an easy way to nail the utilitarian chic vibe.

Our favourite Mango menswear trench is part of their ‘Committed’ sustainable collection. There’s something really special about this piece. It’s giving us Burberry x Barbour mash up vibes. Pair it with earthy toned knitwear, dark jeans and a sturdy pair of Chelsea boots for a super luxe look that would work just as well in the countryside as it would on Sloane Square.
