Forever Pieces – The Barbour Beadnell

Continuing our Forever Pieces series we had to include the Barbour Beadnell jacket alongside one of our country walks. Founded in 1894, Barbour is one of our favourite heritage brands. Sabina Emrit Harper tells us, “Barbour is a brand everyone knows and loves. When you buy a Barbour piece – you know it’s going to last forever. I dress many of my clients in Barbour. David Harewood especially loves wearing the brand for documentaries for both its functionality and pure style details. Since we’ve moved to the countryside I wanted to invest in a piece that would work across seasons and that I could carry lots of things in too. I went for the Beadnell in sage because it’s such a classic colour. My wardrobe is full of chunky knits, so whilst the Beadnell is a slim fit, I opted for a size 14 for that oversized and relaxed feel that I feel super comfortable in.”
