My TH&TH Bridesmaids

I think by now it’s clear that we’re big fans of TH&TH.

I could pretend that the stylist in me was aware of the brand – but the truth is it was one of my Maid of Honour’s Lisa who first found them. I was at my first ever wedding dress try on at The Wedding Gallery at 1 Marylebone Rd in London and as we wandered around the space, Lisa excitedly exclaimed that she had found her dress and she showed me the pink Luna gown. Confession: I feel like Lisa and my big sister Inga are the only ones who dealt with the Bridezilla version of me. I remember saying something like, ‘We’re not looking at your dresses today!’ Eek. Sorry Lisa…

As time passed, friends who are designers offered to work on bespoke options and brands offered collaborations – but I couldn’t get away from the look and feel of TH&TH. I had always dreamed of dressing my bridesmaids in Oscar de la Renta (so very Sex and the City), but with 12 bridesmaids – erm – that wasn’t going to happen.

I needed gowns – and gowns that everyone would love and be happy in for the whole day. And they also needed to align with our castle setting and my (Cinderella) dress. Romantic, etherial and timeless…

I asked to meet with Founders Louie and Kitty at The Wedding Gallery and they kindly took the time to come down to London. We had the sweetest meeting and they stayed with us throughout the fitting so that we could make notes of colours and styles and ask lots of questions. And so TH&TH became the brand all of my bridesmaids would wear.

My Bride Tribe wore the Bardot in Smoked Blush and in Silver Mist and the Luna Smoked Orchid and Silver Mist (which had more of a mint green hue to it in the Italian sun). And they looked absolutely incredible…

In the day they looked like modern day princesses, and I remember them on the dance floor swirling and making shapes in tulle…

My girls. What magic!
